Town of Wheatland RESIDENTS ONLY! LARGE CLEAN UP DAY. Saturday April 19, 2025 during regular dumpsite hours. We are bringing in another large dumpster for your larger items that do not fit or qualify to be in our regular dumpster in standard garbage bags. Once this dumpster is full, we will not accept any other items. To help cover the cost, there will be fees associated with items placed in the dumpster not regularly there for our standard waste. Cash Only We do not take the following items NO building materials other than a board or two. NO silage bags or agricultural plastics; No Paints or Hazardous chemicals No lawn clippings (grass, shrubs, tree debris) No Rocks No Industrial Tires No Mattress/Box springs ACCEPTABLE RECYCLABLE ITEMS: Tin/aluminum cans; Milk Jugs; Plastics; Glass; Paper; Cardboard; Batteries ACCEPTED ITEMS WITH A FEE Light Bulbs Fluorescent $0.50 Auto Tires $4.00 ea PCB Ballast $1.00 Pickup Truck Tires $10.00 ea Mercury/Vapor Bulbs $5.00 LED $2.50 Couch/Chair/furniture $10 All Appliances: $15 ea We do NOT accept hazardous waste of any kind! Township residents can take hazardous waste to the La Crosse County Hazardous Waste Program
